The House of 334 was born in November 2017 from an idea to develop a one-stop creative services agency that combines our specialties. Our goal was to provide design, marketing and copywriting services to hard-working business owners like ourselves. Before we knew it — and thanks to the support of our family, friends, and other entrepreneurs we've met along the way — our business has grown faster than we could've ever imagined. Because we know how important it is for new businesses to receive support in order to succeed, we want to pay it forward.
As three entrepreneurs born and raised in the South Los Angeles area, we have been greatly inspired by members of our community, especially the late Ermias Asghedom, better known to the world as Nipsey Hussle. Before his untimely death, Nipsey opened numerous businesses and gave back to our community in countless ways. To honor his memory, we are starting a scholarship program to support aspiring entrepreneurs in our city.

You are eligible to apply for the scholarship if you:
Scholarship qualifications
currently live in the Greater Los Angeles area
are a new entrepreneur who started your business within the last two years, or are in the planning stages of starting your business
are a small business owner with 4 or less business partners and/or employees
could benefit from design, copywriting and marketing assistance but do not have a large budget
Do I have to be a woman, or of a certain age to apply?
No, there is no gender or age requirement to be eligible for the scholarship. Although our audience is comprised primarily of women, we've received a great deal of support from men as well. Therefore everyone who fits the above requirements, including young people, are welcome to apply.
Am I eligible if I was born in LA but now live elsewhere?
For this opportunity, you must currently reside in the Los Angeles area. We may request to meet with the scholarship recipient in person, which would require him or her to reside locally.
Will the scholarship recipient receive assistance with legal business documentation or accounting?
No. House of 334 does not provide legal services, business setup or accounting. However, we can refer you to service providers in our network for requests that are out of scope.
